Kauaʻi Flood 2018 Emergency Repairs

Project Overview: A severe storm event in April of 2018 left several miles of Kūhiō Highway along Kauaʻi’s North Shore severely damaged and unpassable. Bow CM provided the State of Hawaiʻi, HDOT (Highway Division) with construction support services for the emergency repair and reconstruction of this stretch of roadway which included 3 single-lane bridges (Waikoko, Waipā, and Wainiha).

Estimated Construction Cost: $89,000,000

Construction Contractors: Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company and Earthworks Pacific Inc.
