Maluhia Road and Kōloa Road Improvements

Project Overview: Located on the south side of Kauaʻi, this project consisted of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the majority of both Maluhia Road and Kōloa Road to maintain the riding surfaces for these increasingly utilized roadways. The project included work within the historic and iconic Tunnel of Trees (pictured above) which was gifted to the community by the Pineapple Baron, Walter McBryde in 1911.

Estimated Construction Cost: $18,000,000           

Construction Contractor: Goodfellow Brothers, LLC.
